ABOUT OUR FARM
Here at The Little Bit Farm, we are third generation farmers. There are two houses on the property - my grandparents house and the house I grew up in. When I was little, we raised pigs, chickens and dairy cows. We eventually went to just a closed heard of dairy. All the cattle were born and raised here. My job was to take care of the calves. In 2003, my dad became sick and we were forced to sell the cows. The farm was then very quiet with no livestock.

In 2014, my husband, our son and I moved into my grandparents house. We brought with us 3 horses - Garth, Dixie and Indy and our dog Kya. In July of 2017, we lost our beloved Kya. In August of that same year we brought home our first Great Dane, Angus. Five short weeks later we welcomed Maggie to the family. Six months later Lucy joined us.

In the Fall of 2018, we decided that we needed to have livestock back on the farm. This time we went with sheep! They are Dorper (hair sheep) so we do not need to shear them. They shed out their coats. We will have lambs the fall of 2019. In the meantime, we have adopted many orphan lambs from a local farmer. It has been great to bottle feed babies again.

We also have a love for bunnies! We currently have Mini Rex bunnies.
